Moving fish around... again!

well after observing my new finned friends in the 55g I have had to make some adjustments. It seems that almost everyone is getting nipped in their tail fins. When I noticed tiny nips on the top and bottom fins of my Angelfish, it was time to do something about it. So now the angel is in the 29g with the lone Discus. I didnt want her fins to get ripped up, they are beautiful and long.
Left in the 55g are the 1 JD, 1 firemouth and 2 jewels. Also still have the three cardinal tetras and one apistogramma. I know eventually I will have to move the cardinals and the apisto. So the end result for the 55 will just be the cichlids. I dont think that I can add anymore of them to that tank, considering their adult sizes. The jewels are the only ones without any tail fins nipped. The firemouth and the JD and the little apisto all have nipped tail fins. But at this point, Im not sure which fish came in with nipped tail fins other than the JD.
they do chase each other around a lot, but there are plenty of hiding places and the aggression is not targeted on just one fish. They all play dirty! lol...
But they are a lot of fun.. and I cant wait to see them at their adult sizes.

Yeah I am in the process of doing the same with my keyholes & angels. My male keyhole and angel actually fight. They flare gills at each other and everything.
They keyholes aren't breeding again so they need to go to their own tank soon.
I am tired of my American cichlids' behavior.
I am betting the Jewels are the fin nippers. They are pretty aggressive, but so cool looking.
