Yes I just got my blue rams yesterday! I acclimated them, so hopefully they'll stick around for a long time. =]

congrats! i hav a breeding pair of them, and they are my fav fish! just make sure u keep those nitrates low, because sometimes they can be very very sensitive to nitrates. mine have been very hardy, but some strains are difficult to keep

Yeah I do about water changes about twice a week and the nitrates are pretty low. They're very shy! Evertime I walk in to my room they hid behind the decor. Then they finally poke out. They're funny fish. And they're picky eaters! I fed them fish flakes too see if they would eat it. But they spit it right out! So I'm going to go buy freeze-dried bloodworms or brine shrimp tomorrow for them.

Love the rams but they do seem to be really sensitive to the nitrates, thats why I no longer have them.

Congrats on your GBRs! I love them too. Your rams will get used to the food you give them. Mine eats it all now, tho he was picky in the beginning. Ive had him for about 6 months now and he comes to the front of the tank and eats everything I give him. They take time to get used to you, but they will. Im still waiting for a few more myself, but finding them is difficult where I am...

i have a pair of rams, my nitrate is 40ppm from fridays reading, and the female has laid egss today, about 30mins ago, not sure if the male has fertillized them or not though.

but congrats on getting your rams =]
