They require softer, acid water, breed in caves, do well with fish their own size.

They are pretty common.

Once it heats up a bit, there should be quite a few for sale on Aquabid.

Well, i want to get them from a store, not off the internet. How often are they found there? Also, i have heard that they become agressive in breeding season (i want to get a male and female, seeing as a male and a male would kill eachother), so what fish would be good for this, or should it be a species only tank in that case?

I would do them as a species only tank.

Depending on how close a decent store is, will determine if you can find them.

I have a Ruffins Pet store, and a petcetra. I also have a Big Al's, but thats kinda far.

also, does that mean i could get 2 females and a male?
