hey guys...i may be getting a new 30 gal. tank in the next couple of months...and was wondering if there are any types of cichlid...besides the dwarfs...that could fit in there

Kribs get 4" too....so do labidochromis caeruleus/yellow labs...and they are mildly aggressive.

Cockatoos would work, so could a pair or two of Honduran Red Points, or curviceps or shellies or a lot of other stuff.

those cockatoo rams are really gorgeous and colorful! I would love to find them myself. Your 30g tank would look really nice with the dwarf rams, plus you would be able to add some other compatible fish to go with them.
