Anyone had experience with using a bermese border loach with algae eating shrimp such as amano's or cherry's? My loach does eat my small snails, which is why I have him. He is great in keeping my snail pop down. But was wondering if he might try to eat shrimp? I think I could get away with the combo because the shrimp will be bigger than he can handle. I have noticed he doesn't eat the bigger snails. He might go for baby shrimp however.

Hmmm, I have burmese border loaches in my tank and I have never tried them with shrimp. I don't think they would bother shrimp. You might want to try it first with some inexpensive ghost shrimp and see how it goes. If they leave them alone, add some amanos or cherries
