Re: Info plz!

Ok thanks. Could i put 6 in the 9gall tank?

I'm not very good with plants etc. what kind of light would i need for the plants?

The tank im getting is this one - http://www.aquatic-store.co.uk/tropical/view/505
Is the Halogen light ok?

What types of plants would they like?

Thanks - Sorry for all the questions.

You know questions are ok If you would rather some tall grass like silk plants would be good.
I think six would be a good number for your nine gallon.

Re: Info plz!

They are artificial plants sold for aquariums but their silky instead of plastic. Petsmart has a huge selection.

Re: Info plz!

I have Cherry Barbs and although i adore them we call them 'The Asbo's' as not always friendly with others. My Checkered Barbs keep them in line!! Very pretty, funny fish. I love them to bits but they often try to fin nip. I highly recommend them, the adult females look as though they have lipstick on!!

Re: Info plz!

lol thanks. They will be in a tank by themselves, just 6 cherry barbs, so that would be ok.

I just might be able to persuade mum to get them for me. Hopefully anyway.
