please help

i want to learn how to breed cherry barbs, but i have never breed fish before. i already have some separate tank stuff, including some pebble/rocks, a 1 gallon tank, an aerator, and a filter that is built for a 30 gallon tank. first of all, is the tank too small?, and is the filter to big? i have no idea on what kind of plants to get.

please help me

Re: please help

yes the one gallon tank is much too small. The smallest tank I would use for breeding cherry Barbs is a 10G. Then you would need at least 6 cherry barbs to make them comfortable as they need to be in groups.
