basically im looking to get a couple of cherry barbs and i want to if the will ok in my tank with two goldfish

Barbs are tropical while goldies are cold water.
They should not be kept together.

Also, off topic I know - but 2 goldfish in a 10 gal. is VERY overstocked. A single goldfish needs 20 gal. with everyone after that needing an additional 10 gal.

i agree and as i see it you have 2 options.

1- get a larger tank, 30 gallons for two goldies
2-give away your goldfish and get a fish thet is ok in a 10g.

please do somthing for your fish, and soon

Yup as everyone else said, you need atleast 30G for 2 goldfish, i would get rid of the goldies andh ave just cherry barbs
