my cat has not eatern since last week wednsday but she does not look sick, she is doing number 2's and is running around i gave her a tiny bit of chicken today and she ate but then this afternoon i gave her one of her favourite meat things she refused her phoo is realy soft in the middle but not runny sorry for the discription. but my mum and i were thinking that she might be eating and we do not see her eating we we were also thinking that she must be eating her food because you can not eat and and then phoo. and when we offer her things she would normally eat she just walks off.

I'm sorry your kitty isn't feeling well. It would probably be a good idea to have her looked at by a vet.
I hope she feels better.

Hello Krib. I hope your cat is going to be alright. If a cat loses weight then there probably is a problem. If your cat is running around and playing normally then I would think she is eating somewhere at some time. Is it strictly an indoor cat so that you know for a fact it isn't eating? If it goes out doors at all, it could be eating anything, wild caught, at the neighbors. It's hard to say. Just because you place food in front of a cat doesn't mean it's going to eat right then and right there Cats do things on their schedule and not ours lol
If you're really worried and the cat seems to be acting oddly, then I suggest taking her to a vet as well.

I just looked up one of my assignments into animal care, does your cat have outdoor access and is it possible someone else is feeding her? if she showed rapid weight loss or wasnt acting like her normal self and wasnt playing or running around I would say take her straight to a vet.

Maybe try changing her food, my cat went through a stage of refusing all cat food pouches and all he would eat is meat and fish. cats can be picky little creatures sometimes!

Have you recently changed anything in her diet? brand of food etc. Or any other changes around the house?

i got a puppy and that was 3 months ago and ever since she has not been able to really go on the grass my mum thinks she could have a sore tummy and is not able to eat grass due to the dog chassing her because cats eat grass when they feel sick to make themselves vomit we are going to take her to the vet today

so you are saying she has outdoor access? maybe you could get some catnip grass patches for her. I remember them being sold at petsmart in their little pots.. But i would have her checked just in case...

If she has outdoor access, she is probably being fed by a neighbor. As for the grass, plant some wheat in a windowbox and she'll have a blast. You can get whole wheat at a health food store and growing it is cheaper than buying the "catgrass" which is basically the same thing.
