Hello! Hope everyone is doing well today and enjoying being back on line.

The pictures are of Gabby right after I brought her home from the beauty shop this past week. She was not a happy camper. The lady that grooms her said she acted the worst she ever has. They had to tape her feet, put a muzzle on her and it took two people to hold her while she was being clipped. Gabby is 14. The groomer said as they get older the process gets worse. However, I was told to be sure and bring her back when necessary. yeah!!! I hate to put Gabby through it but I have no other options.

OMG-she's so mad at you, she won't even look at the camera Poor kitty, Daddy traumatizing her. I hope you gave her some extra catnip and tuna when she came home. She says "I'm too old for this".

LOL Gabs stays with Dad She was given extra treats, a nice warm blanket and I covered her up. She was purring as hard as she could. Thanks for all the comments I wish she would let me groom her with just a comb and brush, but that's not going to happen. I do get some mats off of her at times. I can brush her, get bit, give her some cat nip and get to brush her a bit more. LOL Now she loves her really soft brush after she's been clipped. hmmmmm

I think she looks cute lol....She is probably way more comfortable without the matts that were probably there before they trimmed her.....

I agree MM...Matts can eventually lead to bruising and other problems.

LOL cat poodle. That was cute. Thanks Caro.l Anytime I'm down stairs she runs to her scratching post and expects a treat. She is spoiled and has me trained well

hehe poor girl.
We have a groomer come into the local vet clinic and with some of the cat's they're actually sedated.

Oh I know all about being trained LOL Angus(my cat) knows just how to work me for extra treats. Usually hugs and kisses will do it(yes he kisses )

my cat kisses to lol.........she will push her head against ur hand wanting u to pet her and i say "give kisses" and she licks my hand or face like crazy. then u pet her and the entire process restarts lol

Latley she knows the drill tho she gives kisses without being told........makes u wonder who has who trained.

My female cat also talks----i swear lol.....well really she only says "no" and if the answer is yes she doesnt respond lol...I ask questions and she answers lol

Both of my cats are also sit for treats.....ive always heard people say you cant teach cats things---i think they are wrong.

Hello Heather. I had a cat years ago that I actually taught to shake hands. All I had to do was run my finger down her leg and snap my fingers and she would shake hands. Too, I taught her to fetch using small, balled up plastic wrappers off of cigarette packs. Then I switched to $1 bills. I'd ball them up (she loved the ink on them or something) and toss them and she bring them back every time. When I moved out of the apartment I was living in, I picked up over $100 laying around in the floor! LOL
