Two nights ago I rescued a kitten that my dad's dog was barking at in the barn. The kitten is a tiger-striped orange male whom I named Nemo. I'm guessing he is 4 or 5 weeks old because he eats kitten chow but still tries sucking blankets at night. When I found him he must have been really dehydrated because he didn't pee or poo for a day and a half. Now he's better and runs around like crazy when he's not napping in my lap (which he is doing now). Nemo is bhhh a troublemaker! He keeps walking on my laptop (he typed bhhh

Lol! He just walked over my laptop again! He's such a troublemaker! He constantly tries to bite electrical cords. He also has left countless scratches and bitemarks on me. But then he curls up and falls asleep purring. Kittens are strange!

Too funny! He sounds adorable Kittens are so funny. They are crazy and when they are playing they are like little monsters, but when they get sleepy they are sooooo cuddly.

My kitten has almost reached adulthood. He is about 11 months now. Luckily, he didn't really annoy us with his kitten antics......he annoyed the dog instead We just get to enjoy the snuggles.

Mine is around 13 months now, and still runs around like a crazy thing, climbs the walls and attacks the other cats (and then runs like fury!) Then when she's sleepy she curls up in my lap and purrs herself to sleep

I haven't had a kitten in a long time. I forgot how exhausting they are! Nemo always manages to get in trouble somehow. Right now he's playing in my file folders bending all my documents, etc. When I'm busy, he naps next to my 5 gallon tank's air pump. He must like the pump's "heartbeat". My 10 year old cat Jinxie is starting to get used to having a kitten around. He still hisses at Nemo sometimes though. Hopefully he'll learn to tolerate Nemo.

I have 13 cats, ages ranging from 18 years to 9 months old. They sometimes get along, but the kitten has learned to leave the older cats alone, she is too rough for them.

Butterfly

Many times kittens that age are cutting teeth so they bite. It's really not a good idea to let them get into the habit of biting or scratching. Big teeth and claws can really hurt and they won't know any better. Sounds like a pretty kitty. any pics?

aww kittens are so cute!

My little one is a pest too haha but I wouldnt have him any other way. I found out my kittens fave treat then started to train him to give paw and sit etc. Now when I have a treat he stops what he is doing and behaves haha.

though he also brings in my knickers from the washing line and leaves them on my bed all muddy

Chewing on stuff does sound like teething. It is also not a good idea to let him get in the habit of sucking on blankets. You could try giving him some puppy chew toys for him to chew on and when he starts biting on you, try getting him to chew on one of those instead.
