My little fur-balls!

Hi guys!
I just thought I would share a couple pics of my 3 kitties with you. Buster is the white one. He's a snow bengal and about 8 months old. He's so active I can't believe it. For those of you who don't know a bengal is a cross between a leopard and a house cat, so they have a lot of wild cat tendencies. He loves hunting everything: feet, other kitties tails, paper....cats are so silly! He actually fell in my african cichlid tank once trying to get the fish lol! Hope is the black one. She is my baby and follows me all over the house. She is such a talker and will sit and fuss at you if she wants attention. She doesn't like the camara though so the only time I can get a pic is when she's sleeping. Pepper is the black and white long haired one. He is like a puppy. He loves having his tummy rubbed and once you start petting him, he won't let you stop. We call him "King of the Toilet" because his favorite spot is on the toilet as you can see below. hahaha! All three of them are rescue kitties and we got them all as kittens. Hope is 3 years old now and Pepper is 2. Anyways, enjoy the pics!

Well litter box trained, though training him to use the actual toilet would be quite impressive.

They are darling! I have a little chihuahua that lives above me and I love saying hello to him whenever I come home. I love it when animals are affectionate with one another Buster is so affectionate with the bigger cats that a lot of times they get grouchy and want to be alone, so they growl at him. He's pretty persistent though and seems to get his way most of the time. He's just like a little kid, I swear....

Sorry to hear that. I recently had to put down my cat Tiger and it was really sad. It's too bad our furry friends can only be with us for a short time.

Did someone say potty train? This is an old photo and I was not sure it would scan. stripes was a mackarel tabby and did actually learn to use the toilet.

Oh my gosh that's crazy! How did you toilet train him? That would be a useful thing in our house! Much less stinky than a litter box.

I used a plastic dish with a small hole in the middle under the seat and put a small amount of kitty litter in it. Pick up their litter box. Show them the dish and praise, praise, praise. about every three days make the hole a little bigger until there is only a small ring under the seat. As the hole gets bigger they learn to move their feet to the seat to stand. He did really well although he was the only one I ever attempted to train.
It's a little bit of a hassle because you have to move it every time a human has to use the toilet. It must stay there all the time during training for the cat to equate it with a littler box. after they are using the toilet comfortably you can remove the ring from under the seat.

That sounds great. I might try it. My husband might freak over the idea of having a litter box under the seat of the toilet though

He might go for it if you ask him to take on the kitty box litter chore

It is a little bit of a hassle during training, but after the cat is trained NO MORE LITTER BOX under the seat or anywhere in the house. Don't know if this would work with an older cat or not. He was about 6 mos old when we trained him.
Oh and... Chi's aren't the only ones who love their own personal kitties

Your kitty looks just like my kitty Hope, who is climbing all over my lap as I type this. I bet it would work with my cats. We have moved a lot so they are used to us moving their litter boxes around. They probably wouldn't think twice if we stuck it in the toilet lol.

My kitten buster loves to lay and watch the fish. Laying on the bed with him and watching the fishies together is one of my favorite things to do
