Allie your kitties are adorable. I am such a sucker for cats. Your kitty Jake looks very much like my little girl kitty Hope who is laying across my lap as I write this. How did you end up with your 4 beautiful cats? Were they rescues or from a pet store?

Actually no. I got it from a baby name book. I picked the name out first then the cat. Weird I know.

Milo I got from our local SPCA when he was 10 weeks old. Georgie we rescued from a neglectful neighbor. When she was only 4 months old, she came to us. She would hang on our window screens everyday for like a month. I found out where she lived (losers) told them if they couldn't find her, that she'd be next door at our place (it was November). The next day she came back, we kept her in for weeks. They never came for her and it's been over 4 years.
Lucky we got when she was 6 wks from a lady who's indoor cats had kittens. Rescue from a back yard breeder I guess.
Jake we got from the LPS we go to for our fish needs. His litter & another were only there for 2 days. That store sell domestic kitties fast. We were on a kitten hunt, been everywhere didn't find Mr. Right, until I picked up this tiny 10 week old black kitten. He was my Jake. I normally don't buy my cats but Jake was money well spent.

My 3 cats were rescues too. I have only bought one cat. When my 2 yr old cat had a liver disease and had to get put to sleep I bought a snow bengal kitten from a backyard breeder. The conditions she was keeping the cats in were horible so I still consider this a rescue. Congratulations on your little fur balls! They are lucky to have found such a good mommy

Thanks, the lighting was luck. They were all relaxing by the balcony door, just as the sun was coming in. I took my chance. Usually when they are all in the right lighting, in the right moment & by the time I go to get the camera they are all out of position. This time they stayed put.
My subjects during photo sessions don't usually cooperate...they are cats and fish most of the time.
Isn't 4 cats like having kids? Someone is always wanting something here...following me around. lol
