Pictus Cats?

I have a few questions about Pictus catfish...

Would a 55g tank be large enough to house a few (probably 3)?

Is there a certain strain that doesn't get quite as large as normal? More like 4 inches instead of 6-8 inches?

Would they eat my kuhli loaches?

Would corydoras just be a better choice for a tank that size?

I would go with corys. Pictus get pretty big, and will eat anything that fits into it's mouth...

I have 1 pictus in my 75 along with 3 corys. Each has claimed their own end of the tank. 3 in a 55 may be a bit much IMO.
