Quick question- are Upside Down Catfish (Synodontis nigriventris) in the same/similar species as Corydora Catfish??
I got two & they are so neat, but I don't know whether I can call them 'corys'

Nope they arent corys, here in the uk corys come under a group called 'mailed catfish' probably the same in america and elsewhere, whereas upside down catfish are another species from a different family

I believe that there a member of the Mochokidae catfish family

Ok, Thanks. They look similar to Corys, but definitley different with the whole 'upside down' swimming.

Synodontis are in the mochokidae family
Coryodoras are in the Callichthyidae family
