Okay, I have my smaller tanks, the 5 holding tank, the 10g holding and the 20l for brooding cichlids. I need to know what I can get for those tanks that could help be a cleaner. They need to be able to withstand a 8.0 pH and med hard water.
I have my plecos in my large tanks, but I know plecos aren't the choice for those smaller tanks, thus needing advice.

Zebra Nerite snails are primo algae eaters, and they'll like the hard water!

When you say you want a fish as a "cleaner" do you mean algae eater or bottom feeder?

Thanks, but I am not a fan of snails... I have had diff species of them and really don't like them. I am looking for more of a catfish like an otto that would be able to stand hard water.
