I recently set up a 10g & I'm letting it cycle before I get any fish. It'll be a little while before I get any catfish, but I was wondering which type I should get. I know no plecos, they get waaayyy too big for my little tank (my boyfriend has 2 so I've witnessed their ability to grow fast and BIG). I've been reading the forums on otos and I think that they would porbably be best? However, I also read that otos and algae eaters are often sold as one another? If an oto is best, is there a way that I'll be able to tell (at the store, before buying) that I'm getting an oto and not an algae eater? Also, how many should I get?

And if you go with oto's i believe they like to be in 3's, if possible.
