Hi!! I recently acquired this catfish but can't find anything about these online. I would like to know if someone in here has 1 of these or have heard anything about it.

The LFS labeled it as "Rampock glass catfish" but doesn't really have a "glass" body.

Any input would be a great help.

Do you have a picture we could see? Sounds like somebody got creative with common names. Was there a scientific name noted by any chance?

No there was no other name on it. I even have to call them again to get the name as I forgot at first.

I wish I could find something about them but no luck.

Here's some pix and hope somebody can give me it's proper ID.

No not really. It's eyes are more on the underside it seems.

The description does say that, like the glass catfish, this species really needs to be in a school. Any chance of getting a couple more of them?

I do have 6 other glass catfish and I wonder if he'd school with them.

He might school with your glass catfish, since they all originate from the same place.

Oh yes he is pretty cool. You should see him when it's feeding time which is quite a sight. I've never heard of it before either but hopefully, he'll do fine with the 6 other glass catfish.
