Nessie!!!

Ok in my tank 16 gallon tank I have; 1 Red Tail/Rainbow Shark, 6 Tiger Barbs, 1 Orange Snail, A Chinese Aleaga Eater, and a BackWards CatFish. I've tried to look the catfish up on this site but I haven't found it. Does anyone know anything about the Catfish? If so please tell me, like what temperature it likes and stuff like that. If it is going to attack my fish, should I sell it back to the store? HELP!!!!

Hi Nessie, Welcome to Fishlore, I know you have been around for awhile, but I haven't seen your posts yet, so HELLO

Do you mean Upside Down Catfish? I have never heard of a Backward cat, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Google Upside Down Catfish and see if maybe this is your fish.

One note, with what you have in the tank, it is EXTREMELY overcrowded. You have enough fish in there for a 30 gallon tank, MINIMUM..... This will lead to stress for the fish, and health problems.

How long have you had the tank set up? Has it gone through the nitrogen cycle?

Thanks and yes, I do mean an upside down catfish. Also if my tank does get over crowded, ( Right Now My Fish Are Really Small)I might give some of them away or sell them. Thanks for the ifo, bond to be asking more questins later on, Thanks!
