Bangaii Cardinal Questions

Hello Reader,

I was wondering whether bangaii cardinals are hardy?
Do They Need Large Tanks. If So Then How Large?
Would They Go With 2 Black clownfish and 3 green chromis?
Are They Easy To Breed In Captivity?

Any Other Info or Links would be great

ALso pics are good

They are one of the better beginner fish. They don't need too big of a tank. 20g for 2 in my opinion. Depends on the personalities of the fish if they will get along. They are one of the easiest fish to breed in SW (but breeding any SW fish is hard) once you are able to determine gender. They are mouthbrooders.

I want some of those too! They are very beautiful. Someone said you should get them in pairs, but I do not know if that is true. If it is true, do you need a truly mated pair to start off with? Hope you get the answers you are looking for!

Matt, are you getting another tank?
Just that the 130lt is starting to look a little full.
Stoped at a LFS down Rockingham, and they had some nice CB bangaii cardinals,

I am not getting the bangaii's any more. Instead i am trading in my 3 green/blue chromis for a mated pair of percula clowns and a neon goby

Does that sound good and not to overstocked?

Sounds fine. You should add the neon goby first. Let the tank stay like that for awhile. Then get the 2 clowns around 2 weeks later at least.
