I have 3 cardinals and 4 neons tetras in my tank and yesterday added 2 quite large black neons... these guys added a bit more color variety however the dont swim with the other tetras at all and seem to prefer the company of the 2 copper Harlequins i have in there.....the tank however has become really lively....especially at feeding time

Butterfly

They are a bit bigger than the cardinals and neons and their shape is a bit different. Their color will compliment the others very nicely but doubt they will school with them. Fish frequently school with other fish close to their size and shape even fish of other species.

they do look really cool and the differnce in colors looks nice... the Harlequins look amazing
