I love Red Way platies Kate. They are such vibrant peaceful fish. I tried to add some to my container pond over the winter, but they didn't do well. Did you decide to skip the group of cories? Your tanks sounds gorgeous and when you get a chance please post some more pics for us

Thanks! I will have to take photos tonight, the tank is near a slider door that lets in too much reflection during the day light.
Kate, I will add cories at some point, right now finances are limited to either the cories or the GBRs and I just love GBRs. So it will be awhile before cories are in my tank.
