Glosso? Sorry, I've not heard of it. I'm guessing it's a plant, since you're looking for trimmings.

yeah, I REALLY doubt you'll find it here, check Theplantedtank or aquariacentral. Those are the 2 primary aquatic sites I use.

Edit: oh yeah, being in SoCal you should be able to find a lot of locals who have some. Good luck growing it. Are you running presurized?

No, DIY co2. replaced every two weeks w/ 3.6 watts. Do you think it's sufficient enough?

I find one at a store near my work but I'm trying to score freebies =]
