FS: Low & Med Light Plants - ***UPDATED 11/27/09***

*****UPDATE 11/27/09: First off, thanks to everyone who picked up some of my plants prior. It was nice to trim things down to a managable level!! With that said, my Ambulia and Rotala are still seriously overtaking my tanks. Its starting to get to the point where its blocking good light from my other plants, so its time to take action

So here is the new deal....

20+ stems of Ambulia and Rotala (anywhere from 6" - 12") - $12.00 shipped to USA.

Based on first glance, I can probably put together about 3 of these, but it could be more once I start digging into my Amazon Jungles I call fish tanks!

Let me know if your interested!!! Thanks

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi all,
I'm going to be doing some trimming in my (3) tanks in the next few days and was going to put together a plant package (or two) for my fellow fishlorians!!
My setups are VERY low tech and all my plants seem to do well. I have just about 2 watts/ gallon and I fertilize with Flourish products approx 1-2 x week. And best of all, I dont run any CO2. This process has worked very well for me and has given me beautiful planted tanks without much maintanence.
All of these plants were purchased from a mod over at plantgeek, so the quality of the plants is amazing.
And just to get this out of the way now, yes I have snails...yes I like snails, yes they are mostly MTS and Apple...and yes, I will do my best to remove any large snails prior to shipping if requested.
List of available plants:
Heteranthera Zosterifolia aka Stargrass
Rotala Rotundifolia (this stuff is awesome...grows fast and has a pink hue)
Anubias Barteri (1 rhizome with 4-5 leaves)
Hygrophilia sp. Bold
Limnophila Indica (or Ambulia)
Peacock Moss (Taxiphyllum Peacock)
***Possibly available (have to make sure)***
African Fern
Wisteria
I can put together (2) identical plant packages for $15.00 ea or if someone is interested in buying it all, it will be $25.00.
Price includes shipping to anywhere in the lower 48. I'll on ship Monday or Tuesday using a 2-3 day (with confirmation). PAYPAL Only!
Let me know if you have any questions. Or PM me for paypal info.
Thanks,
Steve
...just trying to help some others get some good quality plants for an inexpensive price. I'm sure there are a lot of us who either (a) want to get started with a planted tank or (b) just want to fill in some empty gaps with some different plants. I know I've hit up the forums for both reasons myself!
And just as an update to the thread...One plant package went out this morning. I still can put together one other if anyone is interested.
I'll be making a trip to the post office tommorrow morning, so if anyone else is interested, let me know.
I'd be willing to make a "custom" package if you are only looking for a certain plant or two.
Let me know!
(Sorry for the double post)
I can check on shipping to Canada...but I'm not really sure how the whole shipping of live plants would be. I'd hate to see them get caught up in customs or something
Customs shouldn't be too bad. i've gotten plants from all over asia as well as the states before. They survived pretty good and customs let them in lol
So shipping to Canada would run about 12 bucks....but it appears that usps will only gurantee a 6-10 day delivery.
If you want to chance it, PM me and we can probably work something out. If not, no worries
Anyone
If I don't get any interest in the next couple of days, I am going to have to do the inevitable and throw the good clippings into the trash.
Hi Steve,
I'm interested in everything except for the peacock moss and anubias. Would there be any way to do a $15 package with maybe some extras of the other plants to substitute for them? You can go ahead and PM me
Thanks,
Kate
