We're looking for a 55 gallon in the Southern PA/Northern MD area. Needs to be a 48" long tank, preferably with hood, filter, and heater. I'm hoping to pay around $100 with accessories, $60 for the bare tank, but that's negotiable.

I don't have a tank for sale but have you tried Craigslist? They usually have some good deals on there. I found one of my tanks off of there and it is my favorite.Good luck. I hope you find what your looking for.

It was worth a try.
Almost always when your hunting for something when you have the money you can't find it but when your not looking or don't have the money then that is when you find exactly what you want for the price..but then can't get it. I hate when that happens.

I totally know what you mean. About 2 months ago I found a 125 gallon with EVERYTHING for 375, but the seller offered it to me for 300. And of COURSE I didn't have the money. GRRRR!
