Selling a 250w MH retrofit kit.
Comes with:
-Reflector
-Grounded power cord
-ARO Electronic 250w Ballast
-UV Glass shield

Very easy to wire. Like most retro kits, the ballast being outside will run hot so make sure you have somewhere safe for it. Fixture is 3" x 6" x 11" (H x W x L). Ballast is 8 1/2" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/8" (LxWxH). Ballast will fire all 250w bulbs (DE, SE, etc). Fixture is pretty much brand new. I wired it up and only fired it once, ever. I'll include the copper wire i used if you want, if not let me know. Phoenix 14k 250 DE bulb (Brand new, fired only once) can be included.

With bulb - Asking $180 ($50 bulb, best price on a new Phoenix 250w 14k bulb on the net i guarantee it!! )

Great deal. The bulb for $50 dollars is great to. They aren't as cheap as you would think.

How do you think it would work compared to a 150w sunpod over a BC29?

I use one just like it over my 10gal haha. I can pretty much keep anything. I have it hung about 9-12 inches off the water.

Honestly, i think you will be fine with a 150w over the BC29. Should be enough to keep anything. Either would work, a retrofit kit is just going to save you money (at least $70) but won't give you the lunar lights.

Both are compareable performance wise (being able to keep anything), just the sunpod costs more. Just a matter of is the extra $70+ worth it to have a self contained, MH fixture that sits pretty close to the water? For a lot of people, yeah it is. Others prefer to save some cash and rig up their own like me haha. I would say that the retrofit has a better reflector in it though.
