Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I got Pearl when my cousin won a contest. He couldn't think of any of his friends that didn't have one so he gave it to me. Do you also have a Wi-Fi connecter that I would be able to trade with you?

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I'm a Diamond owner. I'm a shameless 30 year old Pokemon fan. My roomate has Pearl. No Wifi connector though. I have a Wifi router in my house.

I don't know why people think you are a little kid if you like it, it is in a way just like liking those other anime shows/things.

I always assumed it was just a game for kids...little kids. Then one of my nongamer friends went out and bought a GBSP just to play Pokemon Sapphire. I decided there must be something to it. I have purchased Ruby, Leaf Green and Diamond since then lol. Now I'm a bigger fan than he is. Same thing happened with Harry Potter.

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
If you think about it, to get the most out of the game it really isn't a little kids game, too much to do especially in the newer versions, more of a 10+ game. I only have yellow and no wifi so no help there sorry.

The wifi is only for the new games, and the DS has a built in wifi detecor. But ya, I agree with you, so many people frown upon the teenagers/adults playing 'little kid games' and not playing the typical fighting and shooting games(which are still really fun nonetheless).

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
You are so right. I'd have lost interest and never been able to fully explore a Pokemon game when I was a "little kid". I think I get way more out of them than even a 10 year old.

I also have two cousins that are only 7 and 10 and neither of them can figure out what to do and kept asking me where to go and what to do since I have already beaten the game in question.

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
What's the difference between Diamond and Pearl? I'm definitely looking into getting a Pok?mon game for my DS Lite, they look great. I'm thoroughly addicted to Final Fantasy III DS at the moment, I wasn't an RPG fan before that at all but I recommend it

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Like every pokemon game like this, the only differences are the ones you can/can't catch in the wild. Other than that the story line is the same.

Unless you want all the pokemon. But then again, you could get the wi-fi connector and trade with other people to get them all(like I have).

I haven't met anyone under the age of 10 who could grasp what to do. Several of my friends have several kids and they all tried lol.

I have pearl but I can trade with you and battle once I get my wi fi back up. I haven't felt like fooling around with it. I'll give you my friend code whenever I think about it again.

 sorta...
My 5 year old is all into this Pokemon stuff, however, he is just collecting the figurines at the moment... he has cards too, but doesnt really do anything with them. He also likes the dvds... he has season one (so far), which is great for me on a rainy day!!
I saw on ebay some guy selling like 140 of them at a time, but the dude is in HK. I wish I could pick up 140 of these little figures for $40 bucks!
