Breeding Saltwater Fish - I know wishful thinking, but we gotta start somewhere. Hopefully we can share what we know and learn to improve the chances of other hobbyists routinely breeding saltwater fish!

Have you ever seen eggs that are spit out early hatch? Do I feed them - what? Here's a pic of 2 rejected eggs that hatched on the bottom of my tank over the last 4-5 days and started trying to swim this morning. Awesome stuff to watch but hard to photo since they are so small. The male is 26 days in, his sides are almost touching at the end of his belly and he is still holding, poor guy.

Awsome stuff agansoo
I just discovered that i think my banggai pair are actually both the same gender, they used to get on fine, but now one of them chases the other one to the other side of the tank and doesn't let him move... Is this because they're both the same gender and they're fighting over territories?

It's a real bummer if it is, because i always feel bad if i don't get fish what have babies. I don't know why, but I feel if my fish have babies, then its like i'm doing something back for the fish... stupid i know.
