| Wow!
That must be enough to fill a fair few LFS's in that tank Then they don't have to ask people over the pond to fish them for us!!
Haha - fantastic stuff
Sorry i haven't checked this thread in a while - i forget =[ |

| Update batch 3 (11):
Batch #3 continues to do good they are eating frozen cyclopeeze and BBS. This weekend I cleaned out the refugium on my main reef tank and donated my last maroon clown baby to my LFS. :AddEmoticons04232:
Then I transfered the last of my banggai's to my refugium today. Here's the photos ! |

| Then:
Update batch 3 (5):
The move this weekend to the refugium did not go so well. The pump that feeds the fuge was way to strong. All was fine until I shut the pump off to feed the fry BBS. After a hour or so I started the pump back up and the fry were tossed around to much. I lost 6 fry due to stress !
I then placed a small ball valve on the pump return line to reduce the flow by 50%. |

Fry are starting to eat live adult brine shrimp. Hopefully I can get them eating frozen food soon.
Look at their fat bellies. LOL |

| Thank you so much for this thread. My male BC took eggs on Monday, 1/11 and I consider this to be a tremendous reference. Because of you I have a plan and I'm pretty confident we will be successful! |

| So the Cardinals ended up being harder than the Clowns? Surprised. But didn't you say there wasn't much demand for clowns? |

| Have you thought of trying a different species of clowns to breed? When I went to my LFS to get my first SW fish last week, they were almost fully sold out of clowns because someone had bought like 20 to set up a breeding area. Maybe try tomato clowns or sebae clowns? Last edited by agsansoo; January 22nd, 2010 at 05:09 PM.

| ( ^^ sorry. I hit the edit button again. LOL)
Since it not a good idea to keep different species of clowns in the same tank, due to fighting. I will just put clownfish breeding on hold for now. |
