Can anyone explain the breeding process of this type of clown fish? This pair has been together for about 2 years.....My son recently brought this tank to me and said they were a breeding pair but knows nothing about it...Also, which one is the boy? I'm assuming the one with less black because he is smaller....

I can't give you advice on getting them to breed but the smaller of the 2 will be the male.

I have a mated pair of maroon clownfish. The breeding process is like all other egg laying fish. Getting them to start laying eggs is the bigger question. Have they laid eggs yet ?

I have not seen them lay eggs yet.....The only thing I have noticed is the bigger one (which must be the female) gets a big tummy every now and then and then it goes away....I thought maybe it was just fat.....Where would I find the eggs? They are the only 2 in a 60 gallon tank besides a yellow tang.....

They lay their egg on the live rock. The male will clean it for a few day right before the female starts laying them.
