My pair of angels have been busy recently. The pair that are raising their own have been doing a good job of it, so much so, that I had to separate some of them to give the angels a chance!
Here's a picture of the few I recovered from the breeding tank:
I have not yet been able to count them, but an estimate is around 200 from one pair of three! There are still another 50 or so in with the parents, so I guess they are reasonably successful!
unfortunately, the lighting isn't very good, but you can see the swarm clearly at the start. The back end was trying to show the rest with the parents, but lighting let it down badly!

I was cleaning my tank today and i saw something moveing around in the sypon al lo and behold it was a monster baby blue crayfish i actually got 3 babys from vacuuming my tank lol im suprised they survived with my tigerbarbs and my adult blue cray lol
It's been about 9 weeks since I first published pictures of the first angel fry, so I thought is was about time to post an update.
The following pictures are not brilliant, but give a good adea of the stage of development. There is also one with one of the later gourami fry, which demonstrates the size, by the heater in the foreground!

I almost forgot about these! The betta fry are just about large enough now to catch on camera, very blurred, since they are at the back of the column, just under the surface cover, but they can be seen. They are now around 4 weeks old. The last picture shows the tank they are in.
