Here's a little story of pill pushing and what drugs will do to molly youth. OK, my little guys go ab****ely nuts on hikori algae pills (wafers). I took pictures of the nutters having a go at it and it's hilarious:
1/ First fry sees it and goes for the kill
2/ Other fry see it and it's a ravenous mob fight
3/ The idiots are such savages that they push the pill to the edge of their rock and...
4/ Sure enough it falls and gets squished under the castle.
1/ Balloon molly fry approx 1 month old. One of our favorite babies from my balloon molly's second to last batch. He's pretty special to us as my balloon molly is my favorite fish, and we thought she'd die after she gave birth as she was sooooo poorly. We really looked after her fry like mad, in case she wouldn't make it, but she did, and went on to have another batch last week, so all is well. We love that one, though. We love that he's obviously a balloon, and he's got that white/black coloration that we don't have so much in our tank (his mom's brownish grey and his dad's orange)
2/ Oto fry with its dad at 2 or 3 days old
3/ Oto fry 1 month old (approx.)
4/ Oto fry 1 month old (approx.)
OK, my mollies are so............................. SILLY! I love these fish so much. We bought these mini-jars for our kuhli loaches in another tank, and we had some spare. So I figured let's try them for my mollies. They'll be a nice hiding place for the fry. Result: they haven't stopped playing with them for the last 3 hours, the bigger fry, which can barely fit through the opening, just squeeze on top of each other in there. It's sooooooo funny. They immediately took to it.
OK here is a pic of my 6 day old fry from my angels. They are the best I can get so far. they like to huddle together at the bottom so is hard to get clear pic. Hope you enjoy..
They already have their fins they are just see through. by 1 month I believe you can see them better. I had a link some where that had a day by day progression of angelfish development. Here is the link I found it... She has been taking pics every day or so and posting them. It is really cool to see the progression they go through..
Well, this is old, but here are some pics of my Angelfish fry that I have raised a while ago Sorry for the bad quality - the pictures were taken with a regular digital camera. Imagine the quality of the tiny fry pictures that you could have with a Nikon camera!
Here's a picture of my oto family sharing a zucchini: mom is glass-side, dad and fry are this side. Check out how small the fry is in comparison to its dad. Oh, and of course a molly fry had to have some as it was after all the sacro-saint .... FOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
hey, never mind the bath, I got another digital camera today, and that overcomes some of the problems I've been having. Here's a few pics of the family:

Just taken a few more pics of the latest arrivals here, and thought you might like to see them!
The first is the first lay from the newest batch of angels. They are just starting to free-swim, and still have their yolk sacs. They measure around 1mm in body length, so sorry about the blurred image.
Second picture is of the very latest arrivals. These are Albino Guppies and arrived this morning. Again, they are very small and also camera-shy so stayed at the back of the tank!
Third is one of the angel fry (right), from the previous batch with a young dwarf gourami (left). These each measure about 4mm tip to toe and are now about 2 1/2 weeks old.
The last picture was taken through my magnifying glass, and shows the angel fry close-up!
Enjoy!
