platys & swordtails???

hi ..just a question about fish breeding ...being similar can platys & swordtails be bred together??

mine do! just had a new batch of fry yesterday with platties, mollies and guppies all in the same tank! PS: the angels finally decided to lay today as well!

Yes they can...Pretty much all livebearers will cross breed.

that would be HUGE for livebearer owners who didn't want to feed the fry to other fish.. of course, i think the females would live longer if they didn't get pregnant.
