hey everyone
this does very weird but i have had peacock gudgeons and a single female red wag tail platy all unfortunately died when i had a bad
ammonia problem, which has since been sorted.
anyways while the 3 PG and platy were in the thank i found 5 fry i assumed to all be PG fry because i had seen their breeding behaviour and had stumbled upon their eggs at one point.
anyways out of the fry 4 of them were a peachy colour one was always a bit darker. 3 of the fry perished and just left with 2 one peachy one started going red and has been now for about 3 weeks. the peachy fry died but the red is still going strong and looks really good.
i cant work what fish it is, it has similar features to the gudgons like the "feet" like fins that they rest on the bottom of the water but is coloured like a platy. i had the platy on her own for at least over 2 months so no other male platy has been near her
here are some pics
