I have a Cichlid with a mouth full of eggs and I want to get him out andwith all the rocks and other fish I'm finding it impossible to catch him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as for this has happened before and of course no babies because I couldn't catch him.

First of all, if your fish has eggs in its mouth, its a her Unfortunately, there's really no way other thank taking the decor out of your tank to catch the fish. I recommend scooping the fist out in a plastic container instead of a net because sometimes netting the fish can cause them to spit their fry prematurely. Good luck with the babies

Yeah I piggy back on what Kate said. Since they don't eat while holding you can't set up a trap. the only way that works for me is getting a few rocks out and have someone with another net while you have the other there too. I use a big net and my wife uses a medium size one. Then I put some food on the tank and since the other fish go nuts at feeding time she will come out to check what is going on and that's the best chance to get her on a corner and catch her.
