I really love the calico BNs but(I hate to be a killjoy) I personally don't like the looks of their fins. They should be pretty well straight and even. Those are curled a little and look ragged. Sorry

Don't be sorry. That's why I love you Carol!!. ..Your honest and that's exactly what i need!!. I guess i was caught up in the breeding pair part and didn't even really look at them to well so THANK YOU very much for pointing that out. I def see what your talking about.To bad those other ones are sold out..lol..I'll find some eventually though.

I didn't either shawnie..lol....I just thought they were SOOO pretty..lol..I dont' mind the ragged fins, I can fix that (coudln't I?) but not curled fins.

Thanks gals I hesitated before I posted because I didn't want to spoil the fun.
Yep cesch you can take care of the ragged fins with plenty of room and good clean water. The curled fins frequently show up in crowded tanks. They don't hurt the fish and they can swim just fine but they don't sell very well. It's not genetic but environmental. To me it's just a sign they weren't taken care of .
Just some thoughts.

Nope don't ever hesitate to tell me the truth..It got me kinda scared so I went back and started looking at my pleco's fins..lol..
