ok...a coupla weeks ago one of my female mollys lopped off the top (not sure what to call it) "lyre" on my male molly's (creamsicle lyretail) tail. He made it three days....poor fella. here's what -really- sux. Same day i found dead poppa i found dead fry . Seems dad went nuts and took a coupla kids with him. The youngest was still in "prey" mode and managed to survive. Ah, well. We'll see what the future holds.

my thoughts exactly. weird thing is i have 3 females and (had)one male....not all same breed, but first two fry were both hybrids tween dalmatian lyre-tail and creamsicle lyre-tail.
