Plus, I'm about to clean new substrate for Karma's tank and I keep looking at the striped baby tank and trying to figure out who I want to try this time (after I totally re-decorate it). She tried to kill the last one and I think he's the biggest one in that tank.

oh dear, i hope she does well with her next mate. Try moving her out for a little bit and leave him in there for a little bit. If possible, change around the decow tih your other tanks, ( for example, take her castle out since its her "hot spot" that she guards with all her heart)
