Jellybean Con Eggs

So I think we've established that we have two female jellys, which is perfectly fine. Unfortunately, that means we have unfertilized eggs. I don't want my water parameters to get outta wack. So, how long should I leave the eggs in there before I take them out so they don't get moldy? Also, is there a way to do this without traumatizing my jelly girls? I don't think they realize the eggs are not fertilized. they guard them as if they are.

Hey BB
If they are on a stone or in a pot I would just remove the pot/stone scrap off the eggs and replace it. They will realize they are gone and start getting ready to do it all over again.

Hey Brian, good to see you here again

You're gonna laugh at this! One's in a tree root ornament and the other I THINK is on the sides of the stone ornament. So I can just take out the eggs any time after they lay them? Yes, my fish are spoiled rotten We've established this. They have so much personality, I don't want to get them depressed or anything. Don't you laugh at me

My striped cons are guarding the castle very closely, so I'm thinking I'll have fry soon. I have some very "happy" fish, can't ya tell

They won't get depressed, they may look for the eggs once the decoration is put back in the tank, but they will soon realize the eggs are gone and they will move on. You spoil your fish.....really?

Their only issue with me is that I don't know their scientific names

They don't need a scientific name to be a cool fish.....
