Jellybean/Con Tank

I didn't know if I should update the thread from Monday or make a new one, so moderators, please feel free to merge if needed

So one of the jellybean cons (Hekyll) has been "living" behind the castle since Monday night, where she's rolled, moved the substrate, and shown spawning "nesting" behavior.

Now the other jellybean (Jekyll) is doing the same rolling/moving behavior in and around the tree root ornament.

Is it possible that they're both the same sex and just really "in the mood" or are we looking at a possible pair that just can't decide where they want the babies?

If it helps, they both had orange bellies when they arrived Saturday. Now Hekyll is all pink and Jekyll still has the orange belly.

I have to say, I am very amused by this. The substrate was flat like the desert when they got here. Now it's got "rolling hills"

So we're still thinking male/female? That would be pretty cool! The "Princess" could take two of the brats' brats off of my hands

Tomorrow is water changes. I was going to pull the water from the left part of the tank. I guess I'll just "take it from the top"

I was taking your advice. I was watching Jekyll and leaving Hekyll in peace

Poor Cleo, she's swimming around picking up substrate and dropping it. She's probably like "Now, where can I go?"

IMO there is no way to sex these beasts unless they spawn....depending on their moods, they all have the orange belly LOL so i cannot say what sex they are....LOL @ cleo..she is a hoot for sure...she probably isnt use to all the calm in the tank hahahah

Cleo is definitely a sweetie, for sure. I may see if I can find another ornament this weekend. She really hasn't claimed anything as a "special place". I think she may enjoy having more plants on the left part of the tank, which is where she hangs out the most.

BTW, Karma is apparently concerned about her place. For the first time ever that I've seen, she's been "hanging out" in her castle. Maybe she read that thread we had going earlier
