If a female is already pregnant will she continue to mate?
Just asking because we just got a female dalmation molly and a male balloon molly from the LFS and the male of of course pestering her, but we were thinking that the likelihood of the female already being pregnant was very high since she was in a mixed tank.
So does the female stop mating if shes already pregnant?

she wont be interested in mating but he will continue to attempt and harrass her even if she is thats why with livebeares, you either have the same sex or a 1m/3-4f ratio so that just the one girlie isnt hounded
