Breeding bettas

okay, i am planning on breeding bettas in a few months. i will have a 15 gallon tank, set to 80F. i am planning on getting multiple females (3-5, the one that shows the most interest will stay in the tank) and 2 males (1 in a separate tank, just in case the first one isn't a good breeder). i have read a lot about breeding bettas and i think i'm ready, but the problem is, i'm still not sure what to feed the fry.

i heard infusoria is the best to start off with, but i have tried growing it several times with no luck, i think one time it worked, but the water was all cloudy and old looking.

so my question is, is there any other foods i can use? even if it only raises as little as 10% of the fry, i just want to have a few babies to start off with.

and one more question, how long do i keep the male in with the new born fry?

thanks

if you get brine shrimp that works as does pulverising fish food so that it is very fine. I haven't bred bettas but this is what I feed my fry plus blood worms when they are bigger.

Unfortunatly, all the replies to this thread have been lost due to the forum shut down last night.
I believe Badwolf recieved the info he was looking for and has decided to get his current tanks straightened out before trying to breed.
