I had a batch of mollie fry last night but when I woke this morning more than half were dead. before going to bed i checked the tank and there was 1 little baby at the bottom so i placed the mollie in its birth box thingy and then when i woke there were most of the fry lying dead at the bottom with little balls of something next to them. Any ideas??

How big is the tank? Are there any other living organisms in the tank? What are the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate levels?

Check the temperature (as well as water levels). Smaller fish can't cope with the colder water. Keep it about 30 degrees. my Molly and platy fry prefer the warm
