My Mollie has had had some fry yesterday (5 of them) & there appears to be more to come as there is a large black 'spot' in her belly toward the anal region. Is it normal for a Mollie to give birth of a period of more than 24hrs ? I am a bit worried for her

Most livebearers can have multiple batches with one breeding. Usually 28 days apart. She will probably look preg all the time

that is normal as long as you try to feed you pregnant molly

My female guppy gave a batch on one day and another the next day. Some livebearers give 2 batches.

I have bought one of those little enclosures for the Fry so they don't get eaten. They are very cute.
