with alot of hiding spots, about an inch and a half...they need to be big enough to not fit in tankmates mouths as well as have a ton of hiding spots to feel safe so they dont contract ICH from stress...got some pics of the babies?

Hi CoffeeBean..
I checked out your link.. if I havent said it before.. I just LOVE your planted tanks! WOWEEEE.... they sure are gorgeous! Im happy to see that live plants CAN grow in sand? I really want to add more plants to my 125. My platy have babies but they dont last very long, even in the java moss. And I have alot of java moss in with the driftwood.
I would give my opinion and say that since your nursary tank looks so great, I would leave those babies in there til you are really sure they are ready for the move. The other fish can really have a field day with the fry..
Best of luck with them.. I loved the photos of the babies.

thanks the babies seem very content in there. I have no plans to move them soon. I am moving the two adult swordtails to a new tank as soon as its up and running. they are in a 10 gallon tank right now and seem depressed
