Are you using a breeder box or net? Or do you have plants or places for the fry to hide? If not, the fry were probably eaten by the other fish in your tank.

i have in total 8 plants all very bushy i also have severed plant leaves floating at the top as i found that guppy fry arent bottom dwellers as the internet sites i went on LED me to beleive.. since writing my first this morning i have fished out 18 fry, but not from my fish in question as it was it a box,, i have since removed it from the box and put it back with the rest of them,,fingers crossed ill have 18 more by the time i get off,

hmm, that's strange then. when the belly on my guppies squares off, birth will happen within the next 24 hours. but i don't use a breeder box. maybe it's too stressful for your guppy?

good luck with your fry!

I find that my gups will 'square off' from about 20days and will birth from 8-14days later

So long as you have lots of hiding space you will always be able to save some and be careful putting momma in a breeding net/trap as this will stress her and so she may abort or hold the fry, both are options that gups will use if they are unhappy.

Its not an option for most folks but I transfer my mums to-be to tanks I have set up for breeding.

i have put any fry that i can fish out in a small 10 gallon tank which has a small filter in covered in a sock so baby fry dont get sucked in, also they ave an air stone in there,
over feeding seem to be a problem as i cant get the exact amount right for thm to eat so im syphoning out all the leftover along with 2 litres of water every 3 feed, feeding 4 times a day.
