how many guppys is it safe to put into 1 breeding trap,, my guppies are 1 1/2 inches long the trap i have is around 8"

I wouldn't put more than one per trap as it may stress them out. Also if your momma guppy doesn't like being on display in the trap or seems stressed out, take a sheet of paper and tape over the front of it. I do this with mine and it really seems to relax them.
