I've had my planted tank set up for about 1 month. It's kinda sparsly planted and is stocked with 10 otttos, 30 cherry red shrimp, and 5 amano shrimp. Parameters are temp=78;
pH=6.9;
ammonia=0; nitite=0;
nitrate=25ppm. I've been dosing nitrate is why that's so high. I noticed 5-6 baby ottos on the glass today. They're about 1/8" long and are as active as the adults. What can I do to help with their survival to adulthood? There is a little algea on the glass so I'm hoping that will help. Anything else I can do?
