I have a male gold Twin bar and a female red wag. She just gave birth last night. What i want to know is about how long it takes before you know what the fry will really look like. Im not sure if my twin bar got her pregnet or a fish from the store. Right now the fry are clear, and seem to have the two bars on their fins. I dont know if all fry look like this when they are born or if they mature into their real colors later on. Thanks.

If you grow the fry separately and feed them daily with frequent water changes about a month or so.

Well, i have orange wag fry right now, and they actually looked like their parents, light orange/yellow, and the tips of tail are black.
