I have 14 3 day old platy fry in a breeding box and i have to go away for 3 days and i know adult fish are fine for 3 days but what about fry.

And im going away in 6 days so when i leave they will be 9 days old.

can my fry live for 3 days without food.

They could, if they were in a mature tank with algae and stuff growing in the decorations, since it is a breeding box, I wouldnt recommend it.

What I can recommend in the worst case scenario, is to leave a couple Hikari Algae Wafers in the breeding box. These don't dissolve, and the fry can pick on them freely while you come back.

im going away for 3 days and i have 14 almost one week old platy fry and i need to know if i can just leave them and they will be fine or should i use a algea waffer if so should i find a way to make it stay at the top of the water because the fry are always at the surface
im useing a water bottle home made breeding box till i get a real one
